New Version Enhances Best-in-class Workforce Management Solutions
MIRAMAR, Florida, August 01, 2012 — Kaba Workforce Solutions, the North American operating subsidiary of Kaba Holding AG, Switzerland (SWISS: KABN), a global provider of enterprise-class Workforce Management solutions, is pleased to announce today the launch of their premiere time and attendance software, AutoTime® 7.
AutoTime 7 extends the leading class functionality the market has come to expect of Kaba Workforce Solutions and AutoTime. This solution was completely rebuilt from the ground up in order to evolve and address the current challenges faced by businesses today and in the future.
Based on a Java EE platform, AutoTime 7 now provides native support for flexible schedules including 9/80, Flexitime, and Ad Hoc schedules. Schedules are managed though an intuitive calendar interface and auditing capabilities have been strengthened to exceed regulatory requirements. Access to information is available on a wide range of technologies, including traditional time clocks, PC’s, smart phones, and other mobile devices.
Workflow messaging has been expanded to add more control over the business processes. Data collection capabilities have also been expanded to better support batch and multiple job tracking, as well as robust team labor. Finally, real time calculations are greatly expanded beyond the capabilities with a rules-based analytic engine.

About the Technology
AutoTime 7 is designed on Java EE architecture and is highly scalable, offering custom configurations specific to each of Kaba Workforce Solutions’ customers. The technology’s JSF based graphical presentation architecture offers a highly intuitive interface and user-friendly prompt and response operations with data collection terminals. The technology is able to record both time and attendance (clock-in and clock-out time stamps, breaks, and meals) as well as full labor activity data with detailed task information while recording elapsed time entries such as vacation time, sick day, jury duty and holidays. In addition, AutoTime 7 supports project labor reporting against tasks, chargeable projects and expenditure types, as well as data collection and validation even when the enterprise system is not in operation.
Utilizing JSF and AJAX, AutoTime 7’s component based architecture offers a full spectrum of solutions to compliment any data collection environment.
