Kaba Workforce Solutions Announces Contract Award with RailAmerica

— B-COMM® bridges communication gap with RailAmerica’s SAP ERP —

MIRAMAR, Florida, July 08, 2010 — Kaba Workforce Solutions (Kaba), the North American operating subsidiary of Kaba Holding AG, Switzerland (SWISS: KABN), is pleased to announce the award as prime vendor of choice by RailAmerica, Inc. (NYSE: RA) in its effort to automate time-and-payroll management for its short-line and regional freight-railroad enterprise. Kaba will implement its SAP-certified B-COMM® communication system, connecting SAP Time Management to multiple data-collection options including biometric time clocks and biometric telephony (IVR) at RailAmerica’s 40 North American freight railroads. RailAmerica will join the growing list of over 1200 SAP customers that rely on Kaba to automate workforce-management data collection.

Under this agreement, Kaba's SAP Certified B-COMM® solution will replace RailAmerica’s manual, paper-based legacy system. B-COMM® will enable fast access to critical information, facilitating more effective decision-making by managers, supervisors, and employees. Kaba’s integration to SAP will help ensure the accurate exchange of data between the ERP system and the data-collection devices, thus eliminating the need for manual input. Employees will be able to enter information, including time worked, attendance or absences, and work assignments, in an efficient manner. Managers will then be able to review and approve employee entered data accordingly. Additionally, RailAmerica employees will have access to Employees Self Service Information (ESS).

RailAmerica’s goal for deploying the Kaba solution is to improve productivity and increase efficiencies within its operation.
