The visitor management allows visitors and employees from external companies to participate in the existing time & attendance system and access control without the need to maintain their data in the SAP system. Clearly structured masks make an easy and time-saving entry possible. Data saved once are available for later visits. Retroactive reports, such as number of visitors or the determination of who has been visited by whom and when, can be retrieved at any time. And participation in access control is guaranteed. The master records for employees of an external company are only maintained in the sub-system. It enables – independently of SAP – the generation and management of badge numbers and visitor cards. This allows a non-employee to take part in the company's time & attendance and/or access control, without his or her data reaching the SAP system.

The module Kaba Employee Self Service simplifies, accelerates and standardizes processes in personnel administration. With this web-based application, you, the employee can generate, display, and change your presences and absences as well as starting approval processes comfortably on your own PC. For example, holiday and flexitime requests or approval requests for business trips and seminars are easy to prepare and administrate. Further request types can simply be realized via the parameters in B-COMM ERP 4. The requests are sent to the relevant supervisors by mail for approval and they can process them in B-COMM ERP 4. In addition, employees can record their work times and add missing data. The employee can view all his or her entries in the entry overview. Managers are provided with an overview of all their assigned employees and thus have an overview on current time entries of their employees. At the push of a button, an HTML time record can be generated for the current month as well as previous months. Overall, the Kaba ESS module provides greater transparency for employees and managers and accelerates processes for approving requests. The paperless procedure saves time and money.

The color-coded attendance overview (Attendance Board) shows at a glance which employees, departments and groups are present, on business trips, on vacation, sick, etc. This is possible by downloading additional information such as attendances/absences, shift schedules and organizational units from SAP (Infotype 2001). You can get an overview of which persons are present in each department via definable favorites.

The Alarm Management serves for managing and visualizing alarms.  Alarms are triggered when terminals are vandalized, unauthorized access is attempted, the system status is changed or doors are broken open. They may be displayed as pop-ups, sent as e-mail and stored as log file so that the security personnel can react. Acoustic signals draw attention to the alarms.

This entry option allows entering attendance times and times of absence in an easy, fast and user-friendly way on your workplace.  The colored functional keys are the same as on the stationary entry terminals. Furthermore, you may also obtain information about your current personal time accounts.

This module displays all bookings made on a sub-system in online mode. Defined filters allow displaying the booking lists quickly according to terminals, employee groups, cost centers or other criteria.

This module can be used to integrate the administration of access control managers and access terminals directly into SAP, allowing you to issue access authorizations in SAP. The module can be ideally combined with the existing time and attendance system. Time profiles, areas and special days allow you to define and change the access rights of your employees simply and quickly. Furthermore, the Kaba SAP Access Control can be combined with the Kaba exos 9300 online access management system and extended in this way.

This module allows a superior access to the booked HR times, before they enter the SAP system. Thus, he can view time and attendance bookings, in order to correct errors. If shift schedules are available, they will be taken into account automatically. The bookings will not be loaded to the SAP system until the data have been released, thus avoiding errors. In addition to that, the superior always has a clear overview of the attendance of his employees.
