Course Location and Environment

The AutoTime training courses are held in Miramar, Florida, at the Kaba Workforce Solutions headquarters. Students will be in a classroom/lab environment. The maximum class size is 10 people per class to ensure optimum instruction for all attendees. Daily Class Schedule Courses run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily with open lab time available for an hour each day after class. A continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the duration of the course.

Course Overviews

AutoTime Installation and System Administration

Summary

This course provides a review of how to install the AutoTime software and hardware. Topics covered include system overview, system architecture, installation and configuration of the system server and various clients and system security. This is a course geared towards the technical audience and is not designed for non-technical attendees.

  • Database Administrators

Prerequisite

  • Familiarity with Personal Computers and Microsoft Windows.
  • Familiarity with Database Servers (Oracle &/or SQL).
  • Familiarity with dynamics and processes for large scale system installations.

Duration

  • 2 half days

Configuring AutoTime

Summary

This course provides an in-depth review of configuring the AutoTime system. Topics covered include system overview, configuration, usage and program maintenance. Some specific topics include the following:

  • General Features of AutoTime 6
  • Review of Basic Functionality
  • Configuring Company and System Options
  • Configuring Payroll Options
  • Configuring and Tracking Accounts and Projects
  • Tracking Time and Attendance

Audience

  • AutoTime 6 Application Administrators and implementors Payroll; Human Resource and Financial Personnel Assigned to The Implementation Team.

Prerequisite

  • Prior attendance and completion of the Using AutoTime class will be beneficial, but is not a rigid requirement.
  • Pre-course Workbook (configuration guide) must be completed and brought to class for use during daily exercises.
  • Familiarity with Personal Computers and Microsoft Windows
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of corporate policies and procedures. This will bring greater understanding of configuration needs relative to setup information requirements.

Using AutoTime (Train the Trainer Program) Summary

This course is geared towards those individuals who will be responsible for training end users in the use of the AutoTime application as it relates to their job functions: employees, supervisors or payroll. The course covers the review of AutoTime, specific concepts that are crucial to efficiently training on the product and addressing questions from end users, and practical use of the application on a day to day basis.
