In the middle of 1999, Kollsman, Inc., identified the need to replace their existing Workforce Management application with one that was compatible with the Oracle ERP system as part of their mission to become Y2K compliant. As a government contractor subject to strict guidelines, all prospective products would be evaluated on five primary criteria:

  • It had to provide labor collection to support government reporting requirements
  • It had to have a certified interface to Oracle Manufacturing and Projects
  • Kollsman needed it to be live on January 1, 2000
