The certified workforce management software is the latest release for Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise applications.
PeopleSoft is an enterprise solution for human resources, finance, materials management, distribution, supply chain planning, and manufacturing, providing industry-specific enterprise solutions for worldwide markets. Kaba Workforce Solution’s B-COMM for PeopleSoft Time and Labor is a certified communications software that links PeopleSoft Time and Labor to Kaba time collection devices in order to automate and validate the collection of employee data. B-COMM’s automation of the data collection process offers significant enhancements to the enterprise system as time and labor information is collected, validated and sent to PeopleSoft in real-time, eliminating any delays or potential errors.
B-COMM for PeopleSoft Time and Labor is an Oracle certified workforce management solution built on non-proprietary standards linking Kaba time collection terminals and mobile data collection devices to PeopleSoft. B-COMM provides a highly robust bi-directional communication channel that seamlessly manages the communications stream in order to automate and validate the collection of employee data even when PeopleSoft is not in operation. B-COMM’s real-time automation of the data collection process offers significant increases in efficiency as time and labor information is collected, validated, and driven to PeopleSoft in a timely and accurate manner, thereby eliminating delays and errors and ensuring accuracy in payroll calculations and real-time views of employee activities.

B-COMM also collects labor (task) data and records job transfer data with detailed task information, and records elapsed time entries such as vacation time, sick day, jury duty and holidays. In addition, B-COMM supports project labor reporting against tasks and chargeable projects and expenditure types.
B-COMM is designed with J2EE architecture and is highly scalable, offering custom configurations specific to each PeopleSoft customer. The technology’s XML based architecture offers a highly intuitive interface and user-friendly prompt and response operation between time and labor terminals and PeopleSoft.
Utilizing JSF and AJAX, B-COMM version 7’s component based architecture offers a full spectrum of solutions for workforce optimization. The technology’s modular design may be enhanced to offer additional workforce management functionality such as time and attendance, labor data reporting and labor costing.
System requirements for running B-COMM 7.0 are industry-standard components.
