MIRAMAR, FL AND SHELTON, CT– February 10, 2005 –
Telliris, a leader in telephone time and labor data collection
systems and Kaba Benzing America, the North American operating
subsidiary of $800 million Kaba Holding AG and worldwide leader in
time and labor management systems, today announced a strategic
alliance to integrate and deliver Telliris Attend™ telephone time
and labor data collection systems with Kaba Benzing AutoTime™ and
B-COMM™ products.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kaba
Benzing will sell Telliris Attend to new and existing Kaba Benzing
customers. Telliris and Kaba Benzing will jointly promote the
combined solution. The Telliris Attend system enables Kaba Benzing’s
manufacturing customers to automate absence reporting, time
collection and accruals inquiry from hardwired and wireless
telephones.
“Telliris’ expertise in telephony combined with
their focus on time and labor data collection made the decision to
partner with Telliris very easy,” said John Edwards, President and
General Manager of Kaba Workforce Solutions. “Telephony has long
been a barrier for labor management companies. However, recently
this barrier has become an even greater obstacle. Increasingly, we
are seeing companies that demand an integrated telephony solution.
Our partnership with Telliris, the standard for telephone data
collection, will enable us to win deals where telephony is a
critical requirement.”
“We are very excited to be working
with Kaba Benzing, a leader in time and labor management,” said Mark
Nickson, President of Telliris. “Kaba Benzing’s commitment to
deliver Telliris Attend to new and existing customers is a strong
validation of Telliris’ value proposition. This relationship will
undoubtedly help Telliris achieve its goals for
2005.”
Telliris Attend is a highly configurable data
collection system that is built on a robust and scalable system
architecture that supports from 4 to 192 phone lines per
chassis.
Increasingly, companies in all industries are
implementing real-time, multi-modal, automated time and labor data
collection systems to drive down labor management costs and to
enhance productivity. The ubiquitous telephone is the perfect data
collection platform for contingent, mobile, remote and distributed
workforces. Telephone based time and labor data collection has
significant inroads in key industries such as hospitals,
universities, municipalities, manufacturing, temporary staffing,
facilities management and home health.
