MIRAMAR, Florida, October 16, 2007 - Kaba Workforce Solutions, the North American operating subsidiary of Kaba Holding AG, Switzerland (SWISS: KABN), the global provider of enterprise class workforce management systems today announced that Fairbanks Morse Engine, an EnPro Industries company and the leader in diesel engine technology has selected the company’s workforce management technology, AutoTime for Oracle to enhance its enterprise system.
Fairbanks Morse Engine is a United States based manufacturer of medium speed diesel engines for commercial, nuclear, and marine power generation for customers worldwide. The company has been in operation since the late 1800s first introducing engines for agricultural power and now supplying customized power solutions for a diverse customer base ranging from small municipalities to nuclear power plants and oceangoing marine vessels. With one swipe, employee data is collected and sent bi-directionally to the ADP payroll and Oracle business systems. Fairbanks Morse Engine will leverage this capability to better assess shop floor productivity and efficiency. This information will allow Fairbanks Morse Engine to direct resources to improve performance and take advantage of efficiencies.
