Job Responsibilities:

Project Managers are responsible for the successful implementation of Kaba products. The Project Manager is charged with creating and maintaining project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, and status and resource allocation. The Project Manager also utilizes the Kaba Delivery Methodology to coordinate solution delivery and production releases that meet client needs while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. Finally, the Project Manager assists Application Consultants in design and development tasks as well as in creating test plans and testing efforts.

The successful Project Manager will allocate his/her time to the following aspects of the implementation process:

  Project Administration 75%
  Resource Allocation 10%
  Client Relationship Management 15%

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Project Manager within the Implementation Services group.
  • Act as a liaison between Kaba and client resources
  • Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Development of project plans based on industry experience, the Kaba Delivery Methodology and project management best practices.
  • Understand issues and present resolutions for overall project success.
  • Effectively communicate project status to all project stakeholders including executive sponsors, project team members, resource owners and customer groups. Communicate technical issues and risks effectively to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
  • Escalate issues and risks as appropriate to ensure project success.
  • Manage project scope and customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.
  • Team leadership with ability to provide day-to-day task direction to team members.
  • Plan and implement professional self-development in respect to current and future job requirements, e.g. training opportunities, professional affiliations, etc.
  • Assist management with the prioritization and allocating resources to meet client needs.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of Kaba project management processes.

 

Qualifications Required:

  • The position is virtual and travel is up to 75%.

 

(Experience, Skills, Academic):

  • 5+ of years of project management experience.
  • 3-4 years in a supervisory/lead role in a technical project environment.
  • PMP certification a plus.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources, Payroll and Labor planning and tracking.
  • Experience with ERP technologies (i.e., SAP, Oracle, etc.) a plus.
  • Experience leading complex technology projects.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Shop Floor Data Collection a plus.
  • Knowledge of project management practices and techniques, including work breakdown structure, budget control, risk management, change management, impact analysis, and stakeholder management
  • Expert in plan development, scope and change control management, communication management, status reporting, vendor resource management and issue control/management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must interface effectively with all levels of management, clients and peers.
  • Candidate will have background in Client Services, System Implementation Management, Human Resources, Payroll, Financial systems and accreditation’s from appropriate organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in a client service and consulting environment.
  • The ability to work under the pressure of deadlines, good time management and requires excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be flexible and able to adjust to a constantly changing work environment
  • Experienced in using standard software products relevant to project management, scheduling, budget management and communications.
  • Ability to work under time constraints, in a multi-tasked environment and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
     

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
